Sarah Davey

Sarah Davey fell in love with The Lotte Berk Method from her first class! After having two children, it gave her the meaningful results that she was after and made the best use of her precious exercise time. Now in her mid 40′s, Sarah is thrilled that this form of exercise continues to give her a strong body with the sculpted thighs and bottom, flat abs, and toned arms that make her look and feel great.

After years of attending class, Sarah trained in The BARREtique Method became a Partner and Instructor at BARREtique in 2010. Starting in 2018, Sarah became the sole owner of BARREtique.

She loves the atmosphere of the Hampstead classes that pushes everyone a bit further to achieve their personal best, in a truly non-competitive environment. It is great to work hard for an hour and forget the outside world!

Sarah is a native of Denver, Colorado – here pictured doing some barre work in Rocky Mountain National Park! She has a degree in Anthropology and Human Biology from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters in Public Health from Yale University – where she train in Epidemiology and Healthcare Management.  With a keen interest in Public Health, she worked for a number of years in management consulting before becoming a mum in 2003.

Growing up, Sarah was trained in classical ballet, but throughout her teens and 20′s she was plagued with joint and musculoskeletal pain that was eventually diagnosed as fibromyalgia. To overcome this pain and go off of medication, Sarah dedicated herself to the practice of pilates, and ultimately she went on to have two lovely children. Along with a wonderful husband, Sarah has lived in Hampstead since 2000.
